Dry ice blasting for cold storage facility

Recently, a large cold storage facility approached Cryonomic to solve a complex problem that would prove difficult due to restraints on time, access, and sensitive electronic equipment. The pellet racking was approximately 1240 bays and four stories high, its walkways dirty with day to day contaminates like spillages. These unsanitary spills added another element of safety to be considered while undertaking work. Water could not be utilised because of electronics, and to clean everything by hand would have taken many months to complete and sacrifice the detail that was required. Another factor we had to consider was that the cold storage facility was in operation 24/7, with many pallets of items waiting to be distributed.

The Cryonomic team had limited time to complete cleaning, so we had a team of trained personnel with Cryonomic dry ice blasting equipment achieve the cleaning required to a high standard of quality in limited time. Therefore, no secondary waste was created, resulting in a non-abrasive sanitising effect, reduced time, clean situate, and a completely dry finish.
